Post Power Porting Now Available
I now have power porting available for any customers that have teh VX.16 and VX.18 engines. This has proven to be a fantastic upgrade that does not effect engine life, the porting is on the outside of the sleeve and also alters the crank timing to allow more air and fuel into the cylinder. This has proven to increase power by up to 20 - 30%. I have had many customers trial this for me and I think Crash would have put the most fuel through his and has had no problems. I have also trialled it in my twin engine car and another 2 cars of mine without any dramas. I have found that the engine will also start a bit easier and idle better after the porting has been done, all you need to do is send me your engine, I will pull it down, port it, clean the engine and parts thoroughly to make sure no filings or metal flakes are left inside the engine, I then re-assemble it and give it a test run on a blank chassis, I run it with 5% nitro running in fuel to make sure it is well lubricated and then I can send it back. The cost of this service is $40 plus return postage. The engine will need to be retuned to suit the additional fuel and air that is needed, I can't do this tuning because you need to run it with the fuel you are using to tune it correctly.

Anyone that has had this done can vouch for the performance increase and reliability, the only downside is a bit of extra fuel consumption. Here is a video of the first ported engine I tested back in June 06: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UZKy1xCaI0

good to see you making this available trev!!! i have researched it alot and its the cheapest upgrade u can get for the power output!!! $40 is bloody so cheap all quotes i got was over $80!!!! but i must admit they prob had more experience and have got many over head and some are computer machined making it really hard to compair! but $40 for these engines is a well worth investment :D and yes if the engine is in good quality port and polish will not affect the life!!! but a destroyed engine it will not bring it back to life!!! just thought i might add that in case some one thinks this will fix a broken engine!!! it will last as long as it would of without doing this it will not fix it

yes'm i can vouch for this and have raced with it also, had to change back to the standard engine as the the straights at the track aren't long enough, but would be ideal at the Penrith track with it's long back straight and with a 3 hour race coming up this could be the perfect test :!:
