Post Xeme road car brushless motor
Hi I have got the xeme pro on road car, it has got a hk 100amp esc, I need a new motor I have got the 48t spur and the 30t pinion, I am happy with this setup but I would like more top end as I can afford to lose some bottom end, it is fitted with the standard hsp brushless motor but am in need of a new motor as the mounting screw holes are both striped, so what motor would you all recommend cheers

Yeah but what about a bigger size? Or won't bigger screws fit through the motor plate? :?

With brushless the plugs dont matter. You can plug the three in any combination that you want. If the motor goes backwards then just swap any 2. Atleast thats what i was told. Someone confirm?

im prety sure you are right but i just wont to make sure if i put one of the 2 other wires on the earth that i will not destroy the esc or motor

The brushless motor can can connect to the ESC in any combination of the 3 wires. The only consequence is that it may run in reverse - if that's the case then swap two of the leads over, or set REV on the throttle channel of the transmitter (you may need to recalibrate the range on the ESC after doing this).

Yeah Adrian, you'll be right just do as the other fellas said above  Just check on the servo direction on the tx in the manaul for the esc as some want it reversed and some normal. :D

I also found that if you get the combination wrong the car will go faster in reverse than it does forward, and thats without changing the transmitters REV function.
