I am pretty sure that through customs, on New goods anything over $1000 AUD needs to be declared and import duty is applied.
I think this is to stop grey importing and such
Not to sure, but yeah urs was s/h so could be of a diff nature.
Anyways no biggie, I doubt people bring in stuff over $1000 AUD form OS as it can be an expensive mistake for warranty if its not honored here in Oz.

;)

No it was all new old stock factory parts :D

It went through customs, I was checking with the tracking number which was extremely handy because it showed the exact time it arrived and departed each stage of the journey.

It spent 21 hours in Sydney customs for clearance, and was delivered to me 28hrs after that.

A total of 4 days from the time I paid till it arrived on my door :) Mrs was really pee'd off because she bought a new laptop from Melbourne and it took 9 days lol

Yeah sorry I was talking about new stuff, I read that u got em s/h to restore or as old parts so you should not have been taxed, but in saying that, buying s/h parts to sell in bulk I would imagine you would get hit sooner or later.

LOL @ the missus cracking it.
Yeah I get stuff from HK quicker that I can get it from here.

Wobbly I am thinking u will get hit, and it could be nasty, they are $1500 over here yes?
The shells I can get for $160 as I said elsewhere for u.
I think the 5T is at Oversize for about $1200 but its not a HPI far from it, so that sucks.

They also apply the rule of product being commercially available in Australia and the age of the item. Restoration parts for a 1977 Suzuki would not be readily commercially available.

Get the theme

I fully understand, this is not the issue, I am talking about grey importing goods, new, I know he has older stock, so no issue.

I get the theme now lol

Didnt even think about that side of things :D

Years ago I was in a small venture which was looking to setup an imports business and ended up being put off by the imports duties, it would have meant that we had to almost double the actual cost of the item to make any return :(

Congrats to you on finding those searches for me thats very kind of you.....
:not:
First of all, I have bought those pellets from the first link you gave me and had no luck with those so you wasted time looking around for that as they are from overseas.

Secondly, those coloured pallets are crap and dont shoot as far as the proper airsoft pallets and tend to shoot in all random directions when im aiming in a straight line. So in concusion you have just wasted 30sec of your time searching for these pallets. :disagree:
